Tempe Town Lake Dam Bursts |

On the evening of Tuesday, July 20 one of the bladders at our west end dam burst. As a result our man-made lake is now dry and it is expected to be this way for 90 days. Our goal is to have our rowers back on the lake by November 1, but in the mean time Tempe Town Lake is not available for any boating activities. The Hot Head Regatta, 2010 is cancelled but we will be back in 2011 with a regatta that will be bigger and better than any Hot Head we have hosted. Please don't forget we will still hold our Desert Sprints Regatta, 20 11 on Saturday March 5. Watch Regatta Central for registration details.
